Dreamers Art & Craft Market

I will be at 'The Dreamer's Fall Market' on the 12th May.

The fun starts at 9:30am & will finish at 2:30pm.

I will have hand dyed fabric & Slow Stitching kits to sell + brand new original free form designs.

Also will have my hand dyed hand spun super fine merino - perfect for beanies & scarves for the coming winter.

  • Each skein comes with a simple pattern designed by me.

Come & see me demonstrate Free Form Embroidery.

I will be in the courtyard of The Riverside Theatre in Parramatta. Beside the river.

This is a great idea for presents for Mothers Day the next day.

Busy Fingers Craft Group

This group is available to people in the Ryde area, who are interested in learning a new craft, working on their own craft or dropping in for a cuppa.

I have had a long career in Arts & Crafts & can help you on your way to a new craft.

We do have some supplies for use.

Please B.Y.O lunch or there is a small cafe up the street.

There is a gold coin fee to be part of this group to pay for milk & biscuits.

A place where I will be teaching the basics of Free Form Embroidery.

We will be covering 12 stitches over one day. The participants will go home with a set of linen or hand dyed cotton (250 count) bookmarks made using the learnt stitches.

We usually chat & laugh a lot as we stitch.

I am supplying a kit for each person at a cost of $16.

This includes -

  • Fabric for stitching (hankie linen)
  • Thread - all sorts
  • A sprung embroidery hoop ( medium size)

  • Hand stitching needles

  • Thimble
  • Scissors - small embroidery
  • Plastic box - for storage

There is a limit of 12 people.

I am presenting a workshop on the art of Free Form Knitting & Crochet.

Sharing with members of the Dence Park, Epping Knitters Guild, how to set their imaginations free & let go of their patterns.

I will also have a collection of my Hand dyed & hand spun merino yarn, plus other handmade goodies.
