Each piece is unique - no 2 are the same.

I have made a previous one, using chocolate brown alpaca.

It is a combination of knitting & crochet.

It is made using my Hand-dyed, Hand-spun single yarn.

I dye using food grade colouring.

19 Micron superfine Merino.

Free Form Embroidery on my hand dyed fabric.

I have used this image a few times in different formats/media.

Hand dyed 8 ply using food colouring. Pie weights in the feet & hands.

This is a class that shows you how to dye your own yarn & then learn how to crochet.

Each person goes home with 2 balls of Hand dyed yarn & their own starter piece.

Also, written instructions so they can do it at home themselves.

I have trouble with it.

I'm not a big fan of pale yellows.

Cadmium yellows are my choice

A piece I started to do using the 'Song of Amergin' - ancient Welsh.

She started out as an eldery Asian woman but ended up looking more like my Croatian Grandmother.

Funny how genetics will out.
