As I write this I am struggling through the jet lag left from arriving home on Saturday night.
I have just finished my entry for the exhibition 'treasure' .
Here it is.
I have placed a range of my 'treasures' in these bottles.
The covers are all hand stitched using a range of fabrics, threads & methods.
I think it is judged this week - I have to submit the pieces tomorrow.
I'm hoping that the exhibition runs for longer than this weekend as I am away this weekend. Rats!
The exhibition is being put on by the Embroiderers Guild of NSW at their new headquarters at Concord.
Really close to the train station at Concord West.

The octopus turned out just as I wanted.
